Thatcher/McKee Concord Milk Glass Vase/Stand

$21.99

Talk about a pedigree! Thanks to the wonderful archives at EAPGS for this history. This piece from the Thatcher Glass Co. in Upstate NY dates from the early 1960s. Based on a pattern from Indiana Glass Co., McKee Glass produced these milk glass sets in their Concord line; McKee was then acquired by Thatcher. In a way, this piece shows us the histories of Indiana, McKee, and Thatcher! Originally, this was part of a set - this item was used as a punchbowl stand in one collection - and a reversible tray centerpiece/cake stand base in another. This makes a great vase (peacock feather not included :)
